Briggs and Ava both skied. Briggs and Ava stayed on the tube for 45 minutes one day. Briggs got a rash on his chin from his life jacket rubbing against it the whole time. Briggs loves the waverunner and he won't let you drive or push the throttle.
Isabelle (5 year old cousin) leading Grace. Ava being led by Olivia (Her 8yr old cousin) Grandpa bought a miniature horse for the kids to ride. They love it. Even Grace will ride. His name is Lightning.
This is after the Tech Rehearsal, some of the girls were messing around .
Ava's dance program was on Saturday. How cute they were. She did a cheerleading number and a tap dance to "Getting to know you" from the King and I. The theme of the program was Burning Up Broadway and the studio is owned by Alice and Sheryl Cooper (yes, the Alice Cooper). So the end of the year Mosaic is quite a production. Ava had a great time.
Here's Grace at the HUGE Disney store trying to decide what she wants.
Briggs and Ava in California Adventure at Brother Bear's play park.
We decided to eat lunch at Ariel's Grotto because the princesses come right to your table. No waiting in line to see them. We got pictures with all of them. Ava was delighted, Briggs hugged every one.
Aunt Stacy drove up from San Diego to play with us. This is her with Grace after we had gone on the Winnie the Pooh ride 900 times while waiting for Bret, Briggs, and Ava on Splash Mountain. Stacy is engaged and will be getting married next Spring.
Grace wanted to go on the teacups, but they make me sick so she just got to sit in this one.
This was our second trip to Disneyland. The kids loved it. Grace was a little scared this time, but she survived.
Here is Briggs at his end of the year program. Mostly he just gave us the thumbs up the whole time. Suprisingly though, he did seem to know the words to the songs.
Briggs just started Taekwondo. It is quite interesting to watch. They tried a self control drill where they had to stand still for 20 seconds. Briggs made it about 2 seconds. He seems to like it though and he looks so cute in the uniform.
O.K. so Ava got a huge party and a bouncy on her 2nd birthday, but Grace was perfectly happy with her tricycle. She spent most of the day singing "Happy, to you" to herself and others.
Grace learned to float last year and now she is learning the swim, float, swim. She seems to be happy, but every time she pops out of the water she says "one more, all done" in the cutest voice you've ever heard.
